We're starting the route according to the map;
- 0,7km: From the parking lot, we take the D918 road (Route d'Aubisque) and turn sharply right onto the D102 (500m above sea level) on Route de Gez (direction Col de Spandelles);
- 2,5km: At the sign indicating the end of the village of Gez-Argeles, we turn left off the D102 road (there is a sign for Col de Spandelles);
- 15,8km: Col de Spandelles (1378m.a.s.l.) the first destination reached;

- 25,7km: We descend to the D126 road (540m.a.s.l.) and turn left to begin the next climb along the L'Ouzom River;

- 39,1km: Col du Soulor (1474m.a.s.l.) - the main destination achieved - an ideal place for a break: just before the crossroads just before the pass, there is the Snack Bar "Du Saulor" on the right, and after turning onto the D918, on the left is the Restaurant Snack Bar Les Marmottes. We then begin the descent;
- 46,4km: Arrens-Marsous (885m.a.s.l.) - there are food points in the village; we turn right onto the D105;
- 50,1km: Col des Bordères (1156m.a.s.l.) - another destination achieved;

- 52,7km: Estaing (986m.a.s.l.) - sharp left turn onto D103 (sign: direction Argeles Gazost);
- 57km: (785m.a.s.l.) - on D13, continue straight ahead! (signs show direction Argeles Gazost both left and straight ahead);
- 58,5km: (683m.a.s.l.) turn left onto D103 (direction Argeles Gazost);
- 61,1km: Arras en Lavedan (670m.a.s.l.) - take Route du Lac d'Estaing to reach the main road D918; if you want to stop for some delicious pastries at Boulangerie pâtisserie Maison Lagrue - before finishing the route - at the small fountain/statue with taps (60.9 km - 150m before reaching the main road), turn left onto Rue de la Fontaine and follow the narrow road for 150m until you reach the main road D918 (the bakery is located on the corner) - then turn right and head towards Argeles Gazost.
