We start the route according to the map;
- 1,5km: (400m.a.s.l.) turn right onto the Voie Verte des Gaves cycle path;
- 7,4km: (409m.a.s.l.) turn left from the cycle path onto D13 road;
- 12,2km: przed Ayros-Arbaix (463m.a.s.l.) turn sharply left (here begins the climb to Hautacam) and then right after 300m;
- 27km: Hautacam (1628m.a.s.l.) destination reached;

- The Hautacam ski resort is located below the Col de Tramassel pass, but it's worth going higher according to the map, all the way to the parking lot near the Tramassel restaurant and stopping there before descending;
- 41,5km: Ayros-Arbaix (496m.a.s.l.) turn left and after 100m on the right you will find a restaurant with regional French cuisine: Auberge Le Bouic;
- 41,8 turn sharply right onto D13 road towards Lourdes;
- 46,7km: enter the comfortable Voie Verte des Gaves cycle path, which you will follow all the way to Lourdes;
