We can reach the Pola de Lena station by regional train and start the route according to the map;
- 0,2km: Pola de Lena (323m.a.s.l.) turn right onto AS-230 road - signposted for Bárzana; the climb starts;
- 5,3km: (792m.a.s.l.) if we need to refill our water bottle, the water supply point is marked on mapy.cz - turn left and after 270° on the left side there is a tap with water;
- 8,8km: (1149m.a.s.l.) turn right - signposted for Alto de Gamoniteiro;
- 15,2km: Alto de Gamoniteiro (1767m.a.s.l.) reached the destination;
