Let's start the route according to the map;
- 7,9km: Malaga (4m) turn left;
- 8,7km: (20m) just after the roundabout, continue straight on A-7001 road; signpost: Olias; the ascent begins;
- 17,4km: Olias (451m) after 300m, continue on MA-3111 road - signpost: Comares;
- 22,4km: turn left onto MA-3103 road; signpost: Colmenar;
- 26,9km: Turn left at "Venta Galwey" restaurant onto A-7000 road - signpost: Malaga;
- 28,9km: Puerto del León (920m above sea level) - destination reached; culinary point 'Restaurante Puerto del León';
