By train from Tarascon-Sur-Ariège, we arrive at Les Cabannes station and start the route according to the map;
- 0,2km: (639m.a.s.l.) - We ride straight into D522 road from the train station; on the left is Place des Platanes with a cafe, and 50 meters further on the right side is a public toilet;
- 16,1km: Plateau de Beille (1785m.a.s.l.) - the first goal achieved - during the season, a cafe should be open;

We descend the same way;
- 32,1km: Les Cabannes (537m.a.s.l.) at Place des Platanes, we can use the cafe or the toilet again; there is also a drinking water tap on the square.
- 32,3km: (536m.a.s.l.) - We turn left into Route de Verdun (signpost for Verdun D120);
- 37,6km: (892m.a.s.l.) We turn left (direction: D20 Tarascon Sur Ariege);
- 39,1km: Pas de Souloumbrie (911m.a.s.l.) - the second goal achieved;
