Col d'Agnès is located at an altitude of 1570m.a.s.l.
The pass can be accessed from Aulus-les-Bains or from Massat. Below is a suggested route starting in Saint Girons, climbing Col de Latrape (1110m.a.s.l.), and then Col d'Agnès from the Aulus-les-Bains side:

We're starting the route according to the map;
As always, it's worth bringing front and rear lights for the ride back (there are two 200m tunnels on the way back - there's also an alternative route). - 0,1km: (389m.a.s.l.) - we turn right onto D117 before the roundabout;
- 0,7km: (407m.a.s.l.) - at the roundabout, we turn right onto D618;
- 12,7km: (468m.a.s.l.) - before the river Le Salat, we turn right - signposted: Soueix, D32;
- 18,3km: Seix (509m.a.s.l.) food points and shops - water can be replenished here; after the bridge, we turn right onto D3;
- 22,8km: (576m.a.s.l.) at the Auberge Des Deux Rivières restaurant, we turn left onto D8f (signposted Aulus Les B.);
- 30,2km: Sérac d'Ustou (691m.a.s.l.) the climb to Col de Latrape begins;
- 35,9km: Col de Latrape (1110m.a.s.l.) the first goal achieved; there's a Restaurant les Souleillous - at the pass - worth stopping for coffee and lunch before the next climb;

- 41km: Aulus-les-Bains (766m.a.s.l.) - there's a food point, grocery store, and public toilet (hard to see, by the river - down the stairs); we follow D8f (signposted Col d'Agnès);
- 48,6km (1406m.a.s.l.) - there's a rest area and a drinking water tap on the right-hand side;
- 51,2km: Col d'Agnès (1570m.a.s.l.) - the main goal achieved;

- 55,8km: (1299m.a.s.l.) on the descent, there's a Bar Restaurant de l´Etang de Lers - on the right - a good place for coffee and/or lunch - from now on it's just downhill;
- 56km: (1293m.a.s.l.) we turn left onto D18 (signposted Massat);
- 68,9km: Massat (657m.a.s.l.) - shops and food points; in front of the church, at Place de l'Église, we turn left onto D618 (signposted St. Girons);
- 83,6km: (475m.a.s.l.) - we turn right onto D3 (there will be unlit tunnels on the way - if we don't have front and rear lights, we go parallel to D618);
- 89,7km: (429m.a.s.l.) before Lacourt, we turn left onto the bridge and then right onto D618, which takes us to the parking lot in Saint Girons;
