You can reach the pass from either Bielle or Escot. Below is a suggested route starting in Laruns, including the ascent of Port de Castet and the climb to Col de Marie-Blanque from Escot.

We're starting the route according to the map;
- 0km: (504m.a.s.l.) we enter Rue d'Aiga Bera on D934;
- 0,7km: (494m.a.s.l.) - turn right onto D240E - there is a signpost for Béon;
- 1km: (491m.a.s.l.) just after the bridge at the small roundabout, turn left - there is a signpost for Aste-Béon;
- 6,2km: Béon (455m.a.s.l.) - we take Rue La Caneto;
- 10,1km: Castet (434m.a.s.l.) turn right and the first climb to Port de Castet begins;
- 14,9km: Port de Castet (870m.a.s.l.) - first goal achieved - we descend the same road to Castet;

- 12,3km: Louvie-Juzon (419m.a.s.l.) - turn left on the bridge and after the bridge, turn right after 150m;
- 13,2km: Izeste (425m.a.s.l.) - go straight, follow D3920;
- 24km: (413m.a.s.l.) at the roundabout, we take D920;
- 24,5km: (427m.a.s.l.) after the Carrefour market (you can refill drinks) turn left onto D918 (there is a signpost);
- 42km: (351m.a.s.l.) on the left side of the road - Au Bon Coin restaurant;
- 42,8km: (324m.a.s.l.) turn left onto D238 (signpost: Escot);
- 47,7km: Escot (339m.a.s.l.) before turning left onto D294, where the climb to the pass begins - on the right side (5 meters after the crossroads), next to a small parking lot and a sign with the climb profile for Col de Marie-Blanque, there is a blue tap with drinking water;
- 56,9km: Col de Marie-Blanque (1035m.a.s.l.) - main goal achieved;

- 68,4km: Bielle (448m.a.s.l.) - after the descent, you can have coffee and replenish fluids at one of several gastronomic points; at the La Petite Faim Bielle cafe (on the wall of the building on the right), there is also a drinking water tap (do not confuse it with two spitting gargoyles next to it!), which can be used even if the cafe is closed;
- 72,1km: (460m.a.s.l.) we descend onto D934, which takes us back to Laruns;
