Below is a proposal for a beautiful but challenging route starting in Le Bourg-d'Oisans, climbing Col du Solude, then Col d'Ornon (1371m.a.s.l.) and finishing with the ascent to Oulles (1406m.a.s.l.):

For the route, as always, it is necessary to bring a full set of lights for safety reasons and for passage through tunnels. The 3.1km road is unpaved but passable. We start the route according to the map;
- 0,4km: (723m.a.s.l.) turn left, signposted Villard Notre Damme;
- 0,7km: (724m.a.s.l.) keep right, signposted Villard Notre Damme; the climb begins;
- 9,2km: Villard Notre Damme (1507m.a.s.l.) is a nice spot for coffee at Café de la Gardette;

- 13,6km: Col du Solude (1680m.a.s.l.) - main goal achieved;

We continue on and descend following the gpx trail:
- 23,8km (925m.a.s.l.) turn left onto D526; at the intersection (50m to the right and on the left-hand side) there is a drinking water intake and directly across the road is a shop selling local cheese products; the climb to Col d'Ornon begins;
- 30,7km: Col d'Ornon (1371m.a.s.l.) - second goal achieved; on the left-hand side is the Restaurant Le Chantelouve;

We descend the same road, passing La Palud (again on the left-hand side, 50m after the intersection, there is a drinking water fountain) and continuing on D526;
- 40,3km: (826m.a.s.l.) turn left onto D221; the climb begins;
- 46,8km: Oulles (1406m.a.s.l.) - third goal achieved; a drinking water fountain is marked on the map;

We return on the same road;
- 53,2km: (826m.a.s.l.) turn sharply left onto D526 towards Le Bourg-d'Oisans;
- 54,9km: (745m.a.s.l.) turn right onto D1091 and ride on a safe, separated bike path;
- 59km: (724m.a.s.l.) at the roundabout, we go onto the bike path and head towards the starting point;
