We can reach Bourg-Saint-Maurice by regional train, from where we start our route according to the map;
- 0,2km: (817m.a.s.l.) at the first roundabout, take the D1090 road - signposted Col du Petit St. Bernard.
- 6,8km: (1074m.a.s.l.) continue straight onto the D84 road - signposted Montvalezan.
- 11,4km: (1346m.a.s.l.) turn left - signposted La Rosiere.
- 14,8km: (1636m.a.s.l.) turn right onto the D1090 road;
- 19,2km: La Rosière (1844m.a.s.l.) on the right side, there is a grocery store and a food point;
- 27km: Col du Petit Saint Bernard (2188m.a.s.l.) - destination reached; food point 'Bar de Lancebranlette'.
