We're starting the route according to the map;
- 3,6km: (519m.a.s.l.) we take the D906 road;
- 3,8km: (528m.a.s.l.) take the second exit at the roundabout - signposted Pontamafrey;
- 6,3km: (503m.a.s.l.) turn right onto the D77B - signposted Col du Chaussy; the climb begins;
- 10km: Montvernier (789m.a.s.l.) turn left onto the D77 - signposted Col du Chaussy; on the left side, there is a drinking water intake;
- 20,1km: Col du Chaussy (1533m.a.s.l.) - first goal achieved; there is a drinking water intake just after the pass on the left side;

- 26,8km: Montaimont (1104m.a.s.l.) there is a restaurant on the right side; continue on the D99 road;

- 36,2km: L'Epalud (1344m.a.s.l.) there is a drinking water intake on the right side;
- 38,8-40,8km: Saint François Longchamp (1544-1681m.a.s.l.) many gastronomic points marked on mapy.cz, where you can stop now or on the way back from Col de la Madeleine;
- 40km: (1616m.a.s.l.) on the left side (turn onto Rue de la Madeleine and drive 100m) there is a public toilet;
- 44,9km: Col de la Madeleine (2000m.a.s.l.) - main goal achieved; a good place for coffee at one of the two gastronomic points;
