We're starting the route according to the map;
- 7km: Saint-Julien-Mont-Denis (645m.a.s.l.) at the junction of D1006/D79, turn right onto D79 (signposted Montricher-Albanne), which changes to D81A after leaving the built-up area;
- 9,5km: Le Bochet (700m.a.s.l.) after the church, turn left onto D81 - signposted Les Karellis; the climb begins;
- 15,7km: Montricher-Albanne (1214m.a.s.l.) there is a drinking water intake on the right side after the church;
- 16,5km: (1272m.a.s.l.) turn right onto D81A - signposted Les Karellis;
- 19,9km: Les Karellis (1521m.a.s.l.) at the large parking lot, turn left onto a narrow road (signposted Albanne); you can also go straight to the center of Les Karellis for coffee and come back to this point to continue following the gpx track;
- 22,8km: Col d'Albanne (1656m.a.s.l.) - the goal achieved; continue on to the village of Albanne;

- 23,6km: Albanne (1609m.a.s.l.) on the left side is the "La Gamelle" restaurant with outdoor seating, and on the right side is a drinking water intake and public toilet;
- 23,8km: (1589m.a.s.l.) turn left, bypassing Albanne and after 600m, return to D81, which leads to Col d'Albanne;
- 26,1km: (1604m.a.s.l.) we continue straight towards Les Karellis, but at this point, you can also turn left onto an alternative return route (if it's not closed); both roads merge in Montricher-Albanne;
- 38,3km: (700m.a.s.l.) - turn right; signposted St.Julien Montdenis;
- 40,7km: (643m.a.s.l.) turn left onto D1006, which leads back to the starting point;
