We start on the route according to the map;
- 1,1km: Ponte di Legno (1207m.a.s.l.) Before the bridge and the Oglio river, turn left and continue along the Ciclovia dell'Oglio cycle path.
- 14,1km: (953m.a.s.l.) Leave the cycle path to the right and follow the SS42 road. After 200m, turn left onto the road signposted Monno and Passo Mortirolo, which marks the beginning of the ascent.
- 15,3km: (891m.a.s.l.) Turn right onto a cycle path after 200m, which leads to the start of the climb towards Monno and Passo Mortirolo. A sign indicates whether it is possible to pass through the pass.
- 17,4km: Monno (1047m.a.s.l.) has a grocery store in the town center, and 200m further, there is a drinking water intake at the next bend;
- 26,5km: (1763m.a.s.l.) on the left, 100m after the "Hotel Bar Ristorante Belvedere," there is a recreational area with many benches, a drinking water fountain, and a public toilet. - 27,1km: (1801m.a.s.l.) on the right, there is a refreshment point - Albergo Passo Mortirolo - and a drinking water intake.
