By regional train, we arrive at Fiumefreddo di Sicilia station and start our route according to the map;
- 0,3km: (72m) turn right onto SP72ii road;
- 3,3km: (249m) turn right onto SP2iii road - signposted for Linguaglossa;
- 4,2km: (330m) turn left onto SP190 road - signposted for Milo;
- 4,9km: (365m) continue straight onto Via Zappello Presa;
- 5,5km: (419m) turn right onto Via Castagneto Nuovo;
- 6,6km: (445m) turn right onto SP142 (Via San Giuseppe);
- 7,1km: (419m) turn left onto SS120 road - signposted for Linguaglossa;
- 10,9km: Linguaglossa (537m) is a good place for the first break; there are restaurants and a grocery store; on the right side, next to the church, there is a drinking water intake;
- 11,2km: Linguaglossa (546m) turn left - signposted for Etna Nord;
- 11,6km: Stazione Linguaglossa (560m) on the left side, before the railway tracks, there is a drinking water intake and on the right, at the railway station, there is a public toilet;
- 24,8km: (1404m) on the left side, there is a restaurant 'Rifugio Ragabo' with tables outside - a good place in the shade of trees for coffee and refilling water bottles;
- 27,1km: (1532m) turn right - signposted for Piano Provenzana;
- 30,8km: Monte Conca / Piano Provenzana (1904m) reached the destination; a good place for coffee - restaurants: 'Chiosco Bar Mareneve' or 'Ristorante Monte Conca';
