By regional train we arrive at Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria and start our journey according to the map;
- 0,1km: (738m.a.s.l.) we go straight from the railway station and turn left onto Via Rodengo road; the climb begins;
- 2,2km: (896m.a.s.l.) we turn left - signpost: Alpe di Rodengo;
- 3,5km: San Benedetto (988m.a.s.l.) a drinking water supply is on the left side;
- 4km: (1000m.a.s.l.) we turn left - signpost: Alpe di Rodengo;
