We start on the route according to the map;
- 0,5km: Bormio (1215m.a.s.l.) turn right onto Via Per Piatta - signpost: Bormio 2000; the climb begins;
- 9,6km: Bormio 2000 (1944m.a.s.l.) destination reached; there is a drinking water intake just before the end of the climb; ;

- 19,2km: Bormio (1201m.a.s.l.) if we want to stop for coffee, we enter the center of Bormio; if we continue our ride without a break, we turn left onto Via Seravalle and continue by the cemetery, keeping to the left;
- 21,5km: Capitania (1150m.a.s.l.) turn left onto SP27 road;
- 22,2km: Piazza (1147m.a.s.l.) turn right and after 200m reach the cycling path - signpost: Cepina;
- 22,4km: (1146m.a.s.l.) just after the bridge, turn left and immediately left again onto the cycling path Sentiero Valtellina;
