- 0,1km: Bormio (1194m.a.s.l.) turn left onto Via Seravalle and continue past the cemetery, keeping to the left;
- 2,2km: Capitania (1150m.a.s.l.) turn left onto SP27;
- 2,9km: Piazza (1147m.a.s.l.) turn right and after 200m, reach the bike path - signposted: Cepina;
- 3,1km: (1146m.a.s.l.) just after the bridge, turn left and immediately left again onto the bike path Sentiero Valtellina;
- 13,5km: Le Prese (694m.a.s.l.) on the left, there is a drinking water facility;
- 26km: Grosotto (594m.a.s.l.) on the right, in the recreational area: Parco pubblico Località Prati di Punta, there are gastronomic points - a good place for coffee before the demanding climb;
- 28,6km: Mazzo di Valtellina (554m.a.s.l.) on the left, there is a drinking water facility;
- 29,2km: Mazzo di Valtellina (544m.a.s.l.) turn left - blue informational sign: Passo della Foppa (MORTIROLO);
- 29,5km: (544m.a.s.l.) turn right and then left after 100m - the road is well marked with signs: Passo della Foppa (MORTIROLO); the climb begins; the corners are numbered - starting from number 33, each subsequent corner has a lower number;
- 36,9km: (1469m.a.s.l.) between corners 14 and 13, on the right, next to Casa dell'acqua, there is a drinking water facility;
- 37,1km: (1487m.a.s.l.) at corner number 11, there is a Monument to Marco Pantani;
