We take a regional train to Sterzing/Vipiteno and start our route according to the map;
- 0,3km: Sterzing / Vipiteno (943m.a.s.l.) turn right onto SP508 road - signposted: Brenner;
- 0,8km: (937m.a.s.l.) turn right onto SS12 road and after 200m at the third roundabout take the third exit onto SS44 road - signposted: Jaufenpass / Passo Giovo;
- 3,8km: Gasteig / Casateia (964m.a.s.l.) at the roundabout take the second exit, following SS44 - signposted: Jaufenpass; the climb begins;
- 18,9km: Passo Giovo / Jaufenpass (2094m.a.s.l.) reached the destination; food point - a good place for coffee and water refills;

- 28,2km: Bach (1398m.a.s.l.) there is a food point 'Gasthof Innerwalten' on the left side and drinking water point before the entrance;
- 38,6km: St. Leonhard in Passeier (667m.a.s.l.) a good place for a break - food points and a grocery store; there is a drinking water point on the right side;
- 58-60km: Meran / Merano (333m.a.s.l.) a good place for lunch break; drinking water points marked on mapy.cz;
- 60,2km: Romstrasse - Via Roma (285m.a.s.l.) at the sign informing about the end of the Meran/Merano town, we enter the Reschen-Bolzano cycle path - cycling sign: Bolzano and we arrive in Bolzano via this well-marked path.
